VidaCann launched their preroll product on December 7, 2019. The first strains that were available at my local dispensary were Duct Tape (full flower review here) and this I95 x Lemon strain that I had never tried before.
I can’t find anything about the I95 x Lemon G13 cross itself, but there is information available on both of the parent strains.
I95 appears to be a skunky, gas hybrid strain that is bred by a company called Canna Organix in Washington State. Lemon G13 is a sativa-dominant hybrid also known as lemon G, and is known for its strong citrus aroma.

This I95 x Lemon G13 preroll came packaged in the tube seen above, which has almost become a standard for preroll packaging in Florida as of the time of this writing. The joint itself was rolled well and burned slowly and even all the way throughout. In fact, I smoked half of it one night, and the other half the next afternoon, and it burned just as well after being re-lit.
The flower inside seemed to be ground well and wasn’t totally made up of shake or trim. I felt that this was an overall high quality product.
Appearance/Quality Rating: 4.20/5.00
I95 x Lemon G13 has a sharp, zesty lemon citrus smell accompanied by an earthy gaslike aroma. This is a strain I would love to smell in its full flower form; the lemon smell is definitely present and enjoyable.
The taste of this joint leaned more towards the gas and earthy side, but smoked and tasted smooth throughout. Very tasty strain.
Smell/Taste Rating: 3.90/5.00
From my experience, I95 x Lemon G13 is a sativa-dominant hybrid. This is an uplifting strain with a noticeable cerebral component, but also provided full-body relaxation as well. The first half of this joint was smoked at night, and I enjoyed a walk on the beach and some time relaxing in the hot tub immediately afterward. I was relaxed, but not sedated or sleepy.
The next day, I smoked the other half, and found myself inspired and ready to play music and write content for this website. If I had to guess, I would say this strain is 65/35% sativa dominant in its effects spectrum. I think it’s good for almost any time of the day based on my experience with this preroll.
Possibly good for treating:
- Minor aches and pains
- General relaxation
- Lack of appetite (mild appetite stimulant)
- Mild gastrointestinal discomfort (Irritable Bowel Syndrome or other similar conditions)
I’m definitely no medical doctor, so please take the preceding conditions only as my own personal observations from using this strain and having experience with a multitude of different cannabis strains. Every body is different, and every body reacts different to various medications.
Effects Rating: 3.90/5.00
Overall Rating: 4.00/5.00
Overall, I would best describe the I95 x Lemon G13 preroll as a “very good” product.
For me personally, I find prerolls to be a good choice for “special occasions”, or for times that one needs a higher dose of medication, but perhaps doesn’t feel like going through the trouble of rolling a joint themselves. Prerolls are also a great choice for patients who don’t know how to roll joints, and a convenient option for those who do.
I will definitely buy prerolls in the future, though loose flower will always be my preferred form of purchased medication. However, this I95 x Lemon G13 strain was good enough that it has me interested in picking up an eighth of the full flower form if it becomes available soon. I”d recommend this strain to almost any cannabis patient who enjoys prerolls; it’s a well-balanced hybrid that isn’t too speedy or sedating.
If this one preroll is any indication, VidaCann’s rollout of their prerolls has been strong; I look forward to trying more of their strains in preroll form in the future.
