VidaCann – Tikun Olam Vape Cart Review: Eran Almog (Indica)

Tikun Olam (pronounced Tih-koon Oh-Lahm) is a medical cannabis company that originally started in Israel. Since Israel has allowed medical cannabis use since the early 1990s, this means that these products have much more documented research behind them – a good thing for cannabis patients looking for consistent products.

Luckily for those of us who have a Florida medical cannabis card, we have access to some of Tikun Olam’s products through their agreement with VidaCann.

Tikun Olam’s website offers the following description of Eran Almog:

“A night time strain with restful and soothing effects.

Eran Almog is an indica-dominant, high THC strain used for treating chronic pain, sleep disorders, and nausea. This strain was named after a Tikun Olam patient and has the highest THC content of all of our strains. High strength and not recommended for beginners, Eran Almog is best for those with high cannabis or painkiller tolerance seeking powerful relief.

Eran Almog can be beneficial to those looking for relief from Chronic Pain, Headaches, Insomnia, Muscle Spasms, PTSD, and Sleep Disorders.”

Taste:

The Eran Almog vape cart has a very earthy and peppery taste. There is a faint hint of a sweeter terpene, possibly a berry-like profile. Though this cart doesn’t taste quite as good as the Alaska Vape Cart in my opinion, it still has a good taste that is reminiscent of fresh, earthy cannabis.

Tikun Olam’s website breaks down the terpene content of Eran Almog:

TERPENES

ALPHA-PINENE 30%
BETA-MYRCENE 30%
BETA-PINENE 12%
LIMONENE 14%
OCIMENE 4%
OTHER 4%

This is consistent with the tastes that I’ve personally identified from vaping this cart.

Vapor and Product Quality

As pictured above, the Tikun Olam carts come packaged in a nice cardboard box with the company logo and all that good stuff. Notably missing from the packaging were any cannabinoid percentages or batch numbers. I don’t doubt the quality of Tikun Olam or VidaCann – both are excellent – but it would be nice to see the exact percentages as is common with most other medical cannabis products in Florida.

The cart itself is a Jupiter CCell, and it works wonderfully. I have had zero issues with clogging in this cart, and the vapor produced is very smooth and full. I appreciate the finer details like the strain name being wrapped around the bottom of the cart for easy identification. This is an issue with other carts in the program; they should take notes from Tikun Olam here.

This is an expensive product, but it is a quality product. You get what you pay for.

Vapor/Product Quality Rating: 4.50/5.00

Effects:

Eran Almog, in my experience, is hands down the best vape cart – no, the best product in Florida – for promoting a restful sleep at night and helping to treat insomnia. Whereas most indica strains seem to take about 20-30 minutes before their relaxing body effects become apparent, this is not the case with Eran Almog; a warm-body relaxing sensation begins to set in as soon as 5 minutes after the initial inhalation. There is almost no cerebral component to this strain from my experience, at least not for patients with a moderate tolerance.

This is a vape cart that I keep by my bed at night, and I strictly use it during the late evening hours for the sole purpose of helping me fall asleep and stay asleep. Of all the indica vape carts that Tikun Olam currently carries, they agree that Eran Almog is the most sedating. 9 times out of 10, I am asleep within an hour of medicating with this strain when used before bedtime.

If you’re looking for a good cannabis product to treat insomnia and body aches/pains that diminish the quality of your sleep, I highly recommend this Eran Almog vape cart.

Interestingly, Tikun Olam announced via their instagram page that a batch of Eran Almog flower will be available next week (week of January 13). This is exciting news for many Floridian cannabis patients, who has been anxiously awaiting the release of Tikun Olam flower after close to a year of enjoying their vape carts and tinctures.

Possibly good for treating:

  • Insomnia
  • Anxiety
  • PTSD & related sleep issues
  • Moderate aches and pains
  • Moderate nausea/gastrointestinal issues
  • Heavy Relaxation

Effects Rating: 4.70/5.00

Overall Rating: 4.40/5.00

Tikun Olam’s Eran Almog Cart is best described as a “superior quality” product.

Due to the high price of the Tikun Olam vape carts, I will probably save my VidaCann rewards points and use the discounts towards getting these. The quality is amazing, and I will definitely buy this again in the future, as well as try out their other strains.

I absolutely recommend this strain to any patient looking for nighttime relief of their symptoms: this product provides the type of effects most patients would typically expect from an indica strain. This is a great choice for utilizing VidaCann’s first time patient discount of $55 off a purchase of $100 or more.

Hope you all have a wonderful morning, afternoon, evening, or night – whichever applies. Thanks for reading the review!
